Stoudemire told reporters he had no problem coming off of the bench and has lived up to his word. He didn’t start any of the Knicks first three games (2-1) and has looked very comfortable in that role.

Stoudemire has had a fantastic start to the season. Through three games, Stoudemire is averaging 12.3 points and 7.3 rebounds in 23.7 minutes per game. He’s shooting 50.0% from the field and 77.8% from the free throw line. That’s after averaged just 11.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while shooting 55.7% from the field and 73.9% from the free throw line in 22.6 minutes per game while appearing in 65 games last season. Acy, however, is still available.
