There were high expectations for what Amar’e Stoudemire might add to the Heat bench when he signed a one-year deal last summer, and he got nothing but praise from teammates for the work he did in training camp. But there was little sign of him when the season began, and he sat out 25 of the first 28 games. With no clarity coming from coach Erik Spoelstra, it was logical to think he might be done.“A lot of players kinda forgot that I can still play,” Stoudemire said. “This is a great chance for me to remind them that I’ve still got it.”
