Stoudemire and Nash were part of the Phoenix teams that sported a .674 winning percentage from 2004 through 2010. The duo formed one of the most devastating pick-and-roll tandems in league history, as well as a combined 10 All-Star appearances in that span.

On what made Nash stand out as a point guard…

Amar’e: Steve Nash was a unique player because of his creativity on the basketball court, his professionalism, the way he made his teammates better. Those are attributes that only a few players ever to get a chance to experience.

When he was a player, he was a teammate-first kind of point guard, where he was more in-tune with you becoming a better player. That’s a true mark of a point guard when you’re able to make your teammates better.
