When Amar’e Stoudemire sat down to meet with the media after Mavericks practice on Tuesday, the first question he received was about his now-famous wine baths.

“Y’all are still talking about the wine bath?” Stoudemire said. “That’s old news.”

Stoudemire’s process of soaking himself in a tub of red wine has ended. Since moving to Dallas he can’t find a place that offers it.

His wine baths first gained notoriety when he posted a picture of himself in a bath on Instagram in October. It increased in February thanks to an ESPN.com story on the subject.

“I’m a guy who likes to take advantage of somewhat pampering myself, whether it’s manicure, pedicure, facials, massages, spas, steam rooms,” Stoudemire said on Tuesday. “I heard about the wine bath, so I was able to find a place that has wine baths and I was able to indulge in it.
