Earlier last month, the Miami Heat announced they had signed six-time NBA All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire to a one-year, $1.4 million contract.

Yes, the 32-year-old veteran has been in the league for 12 years — previously spending time with the Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks. But Stoudemire may be an even more intriguing character off the court.
