Desperately needing to snap out of a seven game losing streak, the Knicks came out with fire and pulled out a wire-to-wire victory in Minnesota tonight. It was a total team effort, one that started with a 9-0 run and ended with six players scoring in double figures.
Amar’e Stoudemire (18 points, eight rebounds), J.R. Smith (14, five rebounds, five assists) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (11 points) rounded out the strong offensive effort for New York.
