If you follow Amar’e Stoudemire on Instagram or Twitter you’ve most likely noticed that over the past few weeks he’s been updating his accounts about his recent workouts. Whether he is training in Israel between his obligations at the World Maccabi Games, hitting a Florida CrossFit gym with Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson, or participating in hot yoga sessions near his home in Arizona, Amar’e has been putting in the hard work required to have a strong 2013-2014 season for his New York Knicks.

Amar’e has remained positive throughout his summer workouts and is shouldering the responsibility of coming into next season in dominate fashion. He quoted the commonly used phrase “You can have results or excuses, NOT BOTH” while pushing a weighted sled and performing pushups as he balanced over an exercise ball in an Instagram video shown below. Early morning sessions in the gym have been commonplace for Amar’e. While putting in all this effort to prepare for the upcoming season STAT has been using the mantras, “Can’t stop, won’t stop” and “Hard Work, Stay Humble.” When Knicks training camp starts in a few months we’ll know one thing, Amar’e Stoudemire will be in great shape physically.
