Amar’e Stoudemire enjoyed a meet and greet with 30 children from his hometown in Orlando, Florida. This was the first of several community events Stoudemire has planned in honor of his late brother, Hazell.

Amar’e had the opportunity to interact and chat with the children in attendance, something he places an extremely high value on:

“I got a chance to chat with them after the game about the importance of education and what it takes to succeed. I want to make sure I plant seeds in them so that they can grow into a tree that bears fruit.”
