Amar’e Stoudemire is passionate about being a father.

In recent months he has joined panels and discussions about the importance of fatherhood.

Back in September, Stoudemire talked about the relationship he had with his father:

“My father and I had a great relationship. He had a heart attack when I was twelve. During those times from twelve to your twenties, those are times where you really need your father for advice. That also started my motivation to want to write this book for the children who are fatherless and get them to want to read more.”
