The first team included: Derrick Rose of Chicago, LeBron James of Miami, Kobe Bryantof the Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant of Oklahoma City and Dwight Howard of Orlando.

Joining Stoudemire on the second team are: Dwyane Wade of Miami, Pau Gasol of the Lakers,Russell Westbrook of Oklahoma City and Dirk Nowitzki of Dallas.

The third team included: Manu Ginobili of San Antonio, Chris Paul of New Orleans, LaMarcus Aldridge of Portland, Zach Randolph of Memphis and Al Horford of Atlanta.

The honor for Stoudemire is well deserved after he averaged 25.3 points and 8.2 rebounds in his first season after signing a $100-million free-agent contract. Stoudemire carried the Knicks to contention prior to Anthony’s arrival and wass, in reality, the biggest reason the Knicks went to the NBA Playoffs.

This is the fourth time Stoudemire has been named second-team All-NBA, including each of the past two seasons. He was a first-team selection with Phoenix after the 2006-2007 season.
